Sudh Mahadev is a highly revered Shiva temple situated at an altitude of 1225m near Patnitop. According to legend, Shiva accidentally killed a demon named Sudheet while trying to protect Parvati, and the temple commemorates this event.

The temple complex houses a natural black marble lingam, a mace (gada) believed to belong to Bhima, and a trishul (trident) allegedly used by Shiva to kill the demon. The annual three-day fair in June attracts thousands of devotees.
