The Sibsagar Shiva Dol, built in 1734 CE by Ahom queen Ambika, is the tallest Shiva temple in India at 54.86 metres. The adjacent tank (Sibsagar Lake) is India's largest man-made tank. The temple complex, including the Vishnu Dol and Devi Dol, represents the zenith of Ahom temple architecture.
