The Raghunath Temple is a sprawling temple complex in the heart of Jammu city, built by the Dogra rulers Maharaja Gulab Singh and his son Maharaja Ranbir Singh. It is dedicated to Lord Rama (Raghunath).
The complex contains seven historic shrines, each with its own shikhara. Its interior walls are covered with gold sheets and it houses over 1.2 million Saligramas (sacred stones) and an immense library of rare Sanskrit manuscripts.
