Panchalingeswar Temple

The Panchalingeswar Temple is a unique hilltop Shiva shrine where five naturally-occurring Shiva lingas are submerged inside a natural spring. Worshippers wade through the cool flowing water to touch and offer prayers to all five lingas simultaneously.

The temple is located atop the Nilagiri hills and is surrounded by dense forest, making the journey itself a scenic pilgrimage experience. The setting is especially beautiful during the monsoon season.
