Nrusinghanath Temple is situated at the foothills of the Gandhamardhan hills in Bargarh. It is dedicated to Lord Narasimha, the man-lion incarnation of Vishnu, worshipped here in his peaceful feline form (Marjara Kesari).
Built in 1413 CE by the local king Baijal Singh Dev, the temple is uniquely positioned beside a cascading waterfall. It holds great significance in Western Odisha, particularly during the Nrusimha Chaturdashi festival.
