About

Niali Sobhaneswar Temple in Cuttack district is a 12th-century Eastern Ganga stone deul situated on the Prachi River. Built by King Anangabhima II, the temple features a tall rekha deul shikhara and an intricate jagamohana (assembly hall).

Exterior walls carry finely carved images of Vishnu avatars, Ashtadikpalas, and celestial maidens in classic Kalinga tradition.
