Maluti Terracotta Temples

Maluti Terracotta Temples in Dumka district of Jharkhand is a village containing 72 surviving terracotta brick temples (originally 108) built by the Baj Basanta royal family between the 17th and 19th centuries.

Built in ek-bangla, char-chala, and at-chala styles, their terracotta wall plaques depict episodes from the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Durga Mahishasuramardini legends.
