The Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple at Yadagirigutta hill is the most important Narasimha shrine in Telangana. The hilltop temple became famous after a massive, beautifully executed reconstruction in 2019 CE.
The ancient cave shrine inside the hill is especially revered. Pilgrims enter a natural cave to have darshan of Lord Narasimha in five different forms. The Telangana government undertook a grand reconstruction inspired by Srirangam, making it one of the grandest newly renovated temples in South India.
