Kudavelli Sangameshwara Temple

Kudavelli Sangameshwara Temple is a majestic 7th-century Badami Chalukya stone temple originally situated at the sacred confluence of the Krishna and Tungabhadra rivers. In 1979, the entire stone temple was dismantled block-by-block by the ASI and reconstructed at Alampur to save it from the Srisailam dam reservoir submergence.

The temple features a soaring Nagara shikhara, carved bracket figures, and dwarapalas of high artistic value.
