About

The Krishnapuram Palace, built by the Travancore king Marthanda Varma in 1746 CE, houses one of the largest mural paintings in Kerala — the Gajendra Moksham (spanning 49 sq ft). The adjacent Vishnu temple features superb granite sculptures in the late Travancore style.
