Kolanupaka Someswara Temple

Kolanupaka Someswara Temple in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district of Telangana is a significant Kalyani Chalukya stone temple from the 11th century CE. Also known as Kulpakji, it is one of the few locations sacred to Shaivites, Vaishnavites, and Jains simultaneously — the latter due to an important ancient Jain temple with a jewel-encrusted Tirthankara idol.

The Someswara Shiva temple features a tall shikhara, spacious mandapa, and large temple tank. The Jain digambara temple houses a seated Mahavira idol encrusted with precious stones, attracting Jain pilgrims from across India.
