Kanipakam Varasiddhi Vinayaka Temple

The Kanipakam Varasiddhi Vinayaka Temple houses an idol of Lord Ganesha that was miraculously discovered in a well. The idol is believed to be a swayambhu (self-manifested) murti that is said to be slowly growing in size over time.

Built by the Chola king Kulothunga Chola I, the temple is famous for its dispute-resolution significance. Oaths taken in front of this deity are considered legally binding by many locals, as the Lord is known as the 'Upholder of Truth'.
