About

Bhairavakona Rock-Cut Cave Temples in Prakasam district consist of eight 7th–8th century rock-cut Shiva cave shrines sculpted directly into a single mountain cliff face in the Nallamala forest range.

Carved in the Pallava architectural style, each cave sanctum contains a carved Shiva linga, dwarapalas, and multi-armed Trimurti reliefs overlooking a waterfall.
