Aundha Nagnath Temple

Aundha Nagnath Temple in Hingoli district is one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines of Lord Shiva, historically attributed as the first of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Built in the 13th century by the Seuna Yadava dynasty in Hemadpanthi style using black basalt, the temple features a massive fortified compound with elaborate outer friezes of deities, celestial beings, and mythological narratives across its stone walls.
