Arthuna Temple Group

Arthuna Temple Group is a cluster of ruined 11th–12th-century CE stone temples in Banswara district built during the Paramara dynasty, including Hindu, Jain, and Vaishnava shrines. The principal temples include the Mandleshwar Mahadev (Shiva), a Hanuman shrine, and Jain bastis.

Carvings on surviving walls and pillars show celestial apsaras, ashtadikpalas (directional guardians), and detailed narrative friezes. Overlooked by mainstream tourism, it is a hidden archaeological gem of tribal Rajasthan.
